Role Overview:
We’re looking for a highly driven, hands-on operator to
own the recruitment process end-to-end. You’ll be the
architect of how we scale talent, from strategy to
execution. Previous recruiting experience is not a
must—what matters is your ability to quickly spot top
talent, prioritize projects that drive impact, and build
systems that evolve with our growth.
This position represents a key leadership role as our
first core team member beyond the founders. You'll work
directly with founders Roshan and Piyush to shape
InCommon's future and talent strategy. As part of our
core team, you'll have significant input into company
direction, help establish our talent acquisition
foundation, and have significant input into company
strategy, culture, and growth.
Who You Are:
- A first-principles thinker who loves solving problems creatively, looking beyond the surface to find the right solution.
- Comfortable toggling between macro strategy (big picture) and micro execution (getting into the weeds when needed) with ease.
- You think deeply and deliberately about challenges, but when it’s time to act, you move quickly and decisively.
- Able to prioritize ruthlessly in fast-moving environments, making sure what’s important gets done when it matters most.
- Process-driven, but you know when to improve, optimize, and challenge the status quo.
- You have a strong compass for authenticity—you care deeply about ensuring that both the talent and the culture fit seamlessly.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the full recruitment cycle—finding, interviewing, and hiring top talent.
- Build and refine efficient, scalable hiring processes.
- Prioritize speed without sacrificing quality, authenticity, or fit.
- Continuously improve systems and spot inefficiencies.
- Create remarkable candidate and hiring manager experiences.
- Mentor and support junior team members as they grow in their recruitment efforts.
